The Honda V3R Arrives in Europe: The First V3 Motorcycle with Electric Supercharger

We know that Honda goes all out, and once again, the Japanese brand makes a big splash with a brand-new V3 engine featuring an electric supercharger! Unveiled at the latest EICMA show in Milan in November 2024, this compact yet powerful engine is already making waves. Even better, it’s already rolling in Japan and might soon hit Europe under the name Honda V3R. So, what can we expect from this newcomer? Sporty roadster or another surprise?
A Revolutionary Engine for a Big Displacement
Since its unveiling in Milan, the V3 engine has intrigued and fascinated. This 75° V three-cylinder promises a novel combination of power and compactness. With its liquid cooling and electric supercharger, it’s built to deliver power without blowing up fuel consumption.
We already knew that the prototype used some parts from the CB1000R, such as the fork, brakes, and swingarm. It seems Honda is preparing a radical evolution of its beloved roadster.
What to Expect from the Honda V3R
What can we look forward to with this upcoming V3R?
✔️ Explosive engine: With this V3 and its electric supercharger, expect impressive torque from low revs onwards.
✔️ Keen chassis: If Honda incorporates elements from the CB1000R, we can imagine an agile roadster with excellent balance.
✔️ Impressive design: Honda knows how to craft beautiful bikes, and we’re hoping for an aggressive look that stands out.
✔️ Modern features: TFT dashboard, cutting-edge electronics, full LED lighting… We want it all!
Honda V3R: A Sporty Roadster on the Horizon?
If recent leaks are to be believed, the upcoming Honda V3R will indeed be a sporty roadster. And not just any roadster: we’re talking about a displacement between 800 and 1,000 cc, right in the sweet spot for high-performance bikes. As the CB1000R starts to bid farewell, it looks like Honda is readying for a fresh start. Given the project’s progress, we might see this new ride hit the floor at the next EICMA show in Milan in November 2025. Imagine yourself in the saddle, eagerly awaiting the next straightaway to throttle up… Chills guaranteed!
