China initially made its mark with small and medium-sized displacements. But today, we’re seeing the release of ambitious models. For example, CFMoto and Benda are rolling out bikes with large two-cylinder engines and even V4s, aiming to compete with industry leaders. No longer limited to 125 or 300cc, China is aiming high and intends to establish itself in the large displacement segment.

Chinese brands aren’t just producing motorcycles. They are forging partnerships with established manufacturers and even acquiring historic brands. That’s how Benelli, Moto Morini, and Morbidelli came under the Chinese flag. On top of that, they’re stepping onto the international stage of motorcycle sports. QJMotor and CFMoto are now present in MotoGP, an excellent way to gain credibility and legitimacy.
