CFMOTO clearly understands that riders wanted a 800 MT more geared towards off-road. Enter the X version, and it’s no joke. Unlike other models in the lineup (Sport+ at 20% off-road, Explore at 30%), this newcomer focuses 40% on rugged trails. Clearly, CFMOTO wants you to hit the rocks.
The first thing you’ll notice: its suspensions. The brand has chosen a 48 mm Yu’an fork up front and an adjustable rear shock absorber for preload, compression, and rebound. As for travel, it measures a solid 230 mm, which is 80 mm more than other models. The ground clearance jumps to 240 mm, adding 50 mm. Perfect for absorbing those impacts with ease.
Rounding it out, the front wheel is a 21-inch and the rear a 19-inch, a classic setup for a trail bike built for adventure. The seat height comes in at 870 mm, so shorter riders take note. Add in a raised fender, a one-piece off-road seat, and a revamped fairing, and you’ve got a bike that looks more aggressive than ever!

If you’re planning long rides without worrying about gas stations, CFMOTO has you covered! Its 22.5-liter tank, inspired by rally raids, outshines the 19-liter tanks of other models. And for the more adventurous, an optional 8-liter tank is available. Expect a comfortable range, perfect for long off-road journeys.
The scale reads 198 kg dry, shedding a significant amount of weight compared to other versions that tip the scales at 231 kg ready to roll. The brand has trimmed around 10 kilos, which is a big deal when maneuvering a machine in tough terrain. Less weight means more fun and, importantly, an easier lift when the bike takes a spill (we know it happens!).
